From Wall Street Journal bestselling author Devney Perry comes a small town, fake relationship romance.

Eloise Eden’s pride and joy is her family’s hotel in Quincy, Montana. Her lifelong dream is to own The Eloise Inn. All she has to do is prove to her parents that she’s the epitome of responsible. That her days of being duped and making reckless decisions are history. She’s so close she can taste it.

Until after one weekend in Las Vegas, she comes home married to a stranger.

Jasper must have put her under a spell with those soul-deep eyes because after a single night together, they woke up husband and wife. Her only hope is to keep this marriage a secret until it’s annulled. Then she’ll pretend it never happened.

Except Jasper begs her to stay married. To fake it for three months so she can accompany him to a wedding. Maybe she’s lost her mind to agree. But her brooding husband seems desperate. It’s only three months, right? Then she’ll say goodbye to Jasper Vale, and with any luck, hello to her new hotel.

Eloise Eden has had one major goal to prove herself responsible enough to take over the family-owned Eloise Inn that she has been managing for years. She is hardworking, responsible, dependable, kind, naive, smart, and a people pleaser. One mistake in her past derailed the transition for a while, but things seemed to be heading in the right direction. Until one night in Vegas.

Jasper Vale has been focused on training his best friend to win his last professional fight. He is quiet, broody, guarded, intelligent, and wealthy.  But one night in Vegas opened his eyes to something and he just went for it.

But now they’re back in reality in Montana with a big secret., but also can’t stop thinking about that honeymoon night. But actions can have consequences and their impulsive decisions could derail all of Eloise‘s plans. And Jasper isn’t sure what his future plans are at this point.

Thus begins a chain of secrets, lies, and omissions, but the truth will be hard to contain. And as they agree to continue with their marriage at least temporarily to help with both of their needs, lines are getting blurred and more feelings are starting to emerge. Unfortunately, these two aren’t the best at communicating so it just makes things more precarious because they’re not sure where the other one stands at any given moment. There is some external drama and they do struggle with their own wants,  needs, and those of their spouse.

This is a sweet, sexy, married-in-Vegas, marriage-of-convenience romance set in a small town in the midst of a bunch of nosy family members. I actually really liked Eloise and Jasper together. Their chemistry was undeniable. I feel like Jasper helped Eloise be more spontaneous and free, as well as just gave her a sense of safety and support. Jasper is a man that never knew real true love from anyone and kept his heart guarded. So seeing the way Eloise loves and her family loves is something he’s so desperately needed but was so afraid to hope for. He is also quite alpha-protective and possessive, but also has so much love to give.

I really love this series and I can’t wait for Lyla‘s book next and I’m also hoping that Mateo gets his story

Eloise Eden has been trying to prove to her parents that she is the best person to run the family’s hotel in their retirement, but each time she feels like she has almost done it something happens to cause her parents to lose confidence. She loves Quincy and the Eden Hotel and has made every decision with the hotel in mind.

Jasper Vale has only been in Quincey a few months, training Tate for his most recent fight. Now that the fight is over, he is weighing his options for the future.

One night in Vegas has them both making impulsive decisions -- a quick wedding and wedding night followed by a quick return home (by Eloise). By the time Jasper catches up to her in Quincy, they have to keep their actions a secret for a number of reasons. But secrets don’t stay hidden for long in small towns, and it is only a matter of time before they are pretending their rash decision was planned and they are working through the fallout as they pretend to combine their lives.

There was a lot of tension caused initially by the secret and then eventually by trying to pretend even as the pretend feelings begin to blur into real feelings. Their chemistry is real from the beginning, so it really was just a matter of time until the blur began. I love a good fake marriage/marriage of convenience (of which I would consider this both) and this did not disappoint. The added drama caused by both of their reasons for needing to stay married only added to the reading enjoyment for me.

I have long loved the Edens and Quincy, Montana and each time I return to this series I am reminded why. I cannot wait for Layla’s story (and though I was sad for her for a time, I love the way things worked out in this one).

From USA Today Bestselling Author Devney Perry comes a small town, enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance.

Winslow Covington believes in life, liberty and the letter of the law. As Quincy, Montana’s new chief of police, she’s determined to prove herself to the community and show them she didn’t earn her position because her grandfather is the mayor.

According to her pops, all she has to do is earn favor with the Edens. But winning over the town’s founding family might have been easier if not for her one-night stand with their oldest son. In her defense, it was her first night in town and she didn’t realize that the rugged and charming man who wooed her into bed was Quincy royalty.

Sleeping with Griffin Eden was a huge mistake, one she’s trying to forget. He’s insufferable, arrogant and keeps reminding everyone that she’s an outsider. Winslow does her best to avoid Griffin, but when a woman is found dead on Eden property, the two of them have no choice but to cross paths.

As clues to the murderer lead to one of Quincy’s own, Griffin realizes Winslow is more than he gave her credit for. Beautiful and intelligent, she proves hard to resist. For him. And the killer.

But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life. Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage.

It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on. Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord. With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had—and never will. Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too. And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream.
