When opposites attract, falling in love can feel like a Wild Goose Chase.

I know it’s wrong to check out my best friend’s twin brother. It’s definitely against the bro code to shove my tongue down his throat. Screw it, one little passionate, sun soaked, all-consuming fling won’t hurt anything. Will it?

Pete doesn’t think he’s fit for island life, but he doesn’t know Palm Island like I do. He might think it’s all drinking on the beach and bed hopping, but maybe if I can show him the beauty and freedom underneath it all, he might decide to stay.

He came for a visit, to escape a bad breakup and a life that’s been closing in on him, but the island doesn’t lure anyone in on accident.

He might be all wrong for me; too careful, too neat, too structured. But I can’t seem to keep my hands off of him. Maybe I could use a little more structure in my life, and maybe Pete could use some chaos.

Will this fling wash away with the rising tide of spring or could this turn into the real thing?

*** This is a LOW ANGST, opposites attract, best friend's twin brother, super swoony and steamy M/M romance full of found family, island shenanigans, and beachy fun.

Goose is Hen's best friend on the island. He is charming, fun, and likes to have a good time. He changes his hair color on whims, he left a career to be an island boy and make scented soap, and he is unapologetically himself.

Pete is Hen's twin brother who uncharacteristically has decided to make an impromptu visit from Wisconsin to Palm Island to get away from his humdrum life that has been closing in on him after a bad breakup. He is wound-tight, structured, anxious, and has always made safe and boring choices. His OCD and anxiety make him feel like he does not belong anywhere.

But from the first moment they meet, Mr. Control and Mr. Chaos just seem to vibe and understand each other. Goose is surprisingly understanding and supportive of Pete's habits and quirks. He pushes Pete to try things out of his comfort zone. And Pete just seems to make Goose happy and excited. Goose is a bit oblivious and sets out to try to make Pete stay for his brother's benefit. But deep down he just wants him to stay, even if he is afraid to admit it.

I enjoyed their island adventures, camaraderie, and rapport. It was fun to see Pete come alive on the island and find himself and acceptance. And Goose is such a sweet and thoughtful tour guide. Their chemistry is off the charts and there is just this connection that they cannot really explain but just is.

But is it just a vacation fling or can it be more?

This is a sweet, sexy, opposites-attract, best friend's brother, new roommates, island romance. It brings back all of the crazy island characters to add drama, fun, and love. I am looking forward to more especially Easy and I hope Lux, and Raven with the setup I think might be coming.

The Real Deal

Of all the places in the world I expected to see Real Wilson again after fifteen years, the ferry to a gay vacation island was not one of them.

I thought I had one chance to kiss him, and I blew it. We were sixteen, and I was an idiot. But now, here he is, standing right in front of me, looking at me with that same expression of awe and adoration that I never lost my addiction to.

We have a week together on Palm Island, but there’s no way that’s going to be enough.

The locals are quirky, the dress code is more than a little lax, and I’m determined to prove to him that this is more than just a vacation fling…it’s The Real Deal.

Don’t miss this sweet, steamy, quirky prequel to The Off-Season Series, where the only thing wackier than the island legends are the locals themselves.

***This short story was previously published as part of the Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend Giveaway. BUT it now also includes two additional Palm Island Prequel bonus scenes that you won't want to miss!

Perfect Ten
(Palm Island #1)
Kim's review

A cheeky virgin, a surprisingly romantic bartender, one house, and six months of nothing but fun...

I came to Palm Island two seasons ago, confused about my life and desperate for a change. The island drew me in, but I’m still not sure why.

Maybe it’s time I cut my losses and go back home, back to med school like I always planned.

But when the breathtaking, flirtatious, tattooed bartender I’ve been crushing on for ages offers to let me room with him this off-season, there’s no way I’m leaving now.

I can’t believe I’ve lived here this long without truly appreciating everything the island has to offer: the beauty of its untouched nature, how to catch a wave, the appeal of casual s…well, you know. But Ten seems determined to make sure I experience every last one, and then some.

Will this be the last off-season I spend here or could this thing between Ten and I be perfect?

***Welcome to Palm Island: Come for the sweaty nights and beach parties, stay for the endless swoon and heart-melting romance.

Kim's review

Chef Storm is moody, antisocial...and he just asked me to be his fake boyfriend.

Most people on the island avoid the hot-tempered chef, but he doesn't scare me. Sure, he's prickly, but I've also caught him feeding a stray cat, so I know there's more to him than the sky-high, barbed-wire fence he's built around himself.

When Storm's ex-husband shows up unexpectedly during the off-season and refuses to go home, pretending to be Storm’s boyfriend is apparently my new job.

Faking it with my grumpy boss should not be this much fun, especially since the last thing I need is to make a fool of myself by falling for anyone else on the island.

Is there anything more exciting than being swept up in a storm? Maybe taming one…

***Taken by Storm is a grumpy/sunshine, sort of boss/employee, definitely fake boyfriend (except how fake is it if they’re ACTUALLY hooking up?), second book in The Off-Season series where the residents of gay resort island get up to WAY too much fun once all of the tourists leave for the season. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but trust me when I tell you that you won’t want to miss all of these shenanigans.

Kim's review

Can you be friends with benefits with a guy who hates you? What about enemies with benefits instead?

My plan to lick every cupcake Boston wants until he realizes I’m his only option might actually work out…

Was pretending to sleep with tons of men to keep my crush from hooking up with them a Dirty Trick? Sure. Do I regret it? Not one bit.

Telling Boston I have a thing for him would’ve been the logical thing to do. Unfortunately, logic hasn’t always been my strong suit. I decided to go the—“get under his skin until hostility turns into affection”-- route instead, and I think it’s finally working.

But once he’s worked off all his annoyance with me, will there be real feelings underneath? I guess only time will tell…

***Dirty Trick is an enemies with benefits story set on the gay resort of Palm Island and can be read as a stand alone, but you won’t want to miss all of these wild island shenanigans.

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series. When she’s not writing she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
