Alex, otherwise known as porn star Tink, has seen all of his friends start to find love. He’s been a player and all about the hook ups but when he meets a shy, kind, sweet bear he finds it hard to stop thinking about him. And he goes back for seconds. Rowan is a big burly mechanic who has a skewed sense of his own worth. His ex has done a number on him and he doesn’t understand why anybody would be attracted to him. So he thrives with praise and support.
Finn is his neighbor and friend who has been trying to get Rowan to notice him for a while. He’s a computer geek, but also big, burly, pierced, and tatted. He is nurturing and caring. These two have been essentially hanging out for a while, but neither thought the other was truly interested. Alex sees it right away for what it is and after an unexpected moment, all of their lives become more entwined.
Alex may have been the catalyst for Finn and Rowan to get together, but Finn is willing to share Ro with Alex if it will make him happy. But dynamics change as the story goes on as these guys become closer and more confident in themselves and their relationships. I love that each of them brought something different to the table, but they all blended so well and provided such unconditional support, love, and acceptance, and had such amazing chemistry.
Eventually, the man-with-two-boyfriends situation turns more into a Goldie-and-his-two-bears throuple. Maybe the reason Alex never was satisfied before is because he needs two to meet his needs and these guys have no trouble managing Alex in all of his glory.
This is a spicy, sweet, witty, heartfelt unexpected romance that these guys never saw coming. I loved these characters. Alex is so fun, outspoken, and confident, and he is a powerhouse of love and affection. Rowan and Finn are just so thoughtful, caring, and protective. Finn is so nurturing but is also good about taking charge, and Ro loves to be praised and taken care of. They give each other all they need and more.
It brings back other couples from the Elite 8 series. I love the found family aspect of this series. Cas(Himbo) is introduced and I am looking forward to his story.
