I swear I only asked one hot hockey-playing friend to give me romance lessons for the week, but three hockey stars volunteered…

The post breakup plan was simple – escape from my toxic ex to a vacation rental and stay far away from men.

But thanks to a booking snafu I’m accidentally sharing it with three hot hockey players. One’s flirty, one’s broody, one’s a cheeky Brit, and they’re all the most attentive men I’ve ever met.

After a couple of glasses of champagne, I’m telling them about the contest my ex is running on his dating advice web site. The topic? What makes a great boyfriend, and I want to submit a column.

All three offer to show me every single thing I’ve been missing in and out of bed.

We make a deal for one week only. It’s only for revenge, of course. I work for the other hockey team in the city so it’d be a big mistake to truly get involved with a rival, let alone three.

Even though I melt under their touch. They show me what it means to be adored, cherished and romanced.

But as the week ticks on, what started as revenge fast turns into me giving my heart to three men I can’t have. Looks like I’m well and truly pucked.

Briar feels like she is now living a garbage bag life(literally) due to her ex-boyfriend's actions.  Fortunately, when she needed a bit of help in the form of cat rescue it came in the form of three hulking hockey guys.

She was kind of acquainted with them through her work as a yoga instructor for hockey teams and other places. But none of them knew that finding each other at the right time just when she needed a rescue would lead to something more.

Rhys, Gavin, and Hollis all play for the Golden State Foxes. She used to work for their team but now works for their city rivals. But when they find themselves stuck in a cottage together during a festival, things get a bit tense and interesting.

Briar has always had some intimacy issues and problems with satisfaction. Maybe she just needs a little extra attention. Two is better than one. Three is better than two. Briar finds her magic number, but it is only supposed to be a one-week fling with no regrets and stay friends.

Boyfriend lessons and searching for Os as a quad make the week fun, exciting, and full of passion. But they are also learning more about themselves and each other as they manage communication, boundaries, romance, pleasure, and friendship. They find themselves being more open and vulnerable, finding their own strength, and healing old wounds. But a week is not a long time and their real lives are calling.

Three hockey players and the yoga instructor for their rival team are quite a combination. And having more than one guy is just a bit more complicated. But it also means more...more connections, fun, pleasure, companionship. Briar definitely finds her groove and becomes quite satisfied, and the guys are sporting smiles as well. But are they destined to be just friends or can they find a way to reimagine a happy ever after?

I loved Briar. She is so smart, motivated, feisty, sweet, and was just having a spot of bad luck. Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin are good friends and teammates, but also make pretty good Knights when needed. They all have their individual personalities, styles, strengths, insecurities, and weaknesses. I enjoyed seeing Briar relate to each of the guys on different levels and all be more vulnerable and open and learn more about themselves. Together they cover all the needs of good boyfriends and partners. There is such deep respect, care, and support between all of them. I loved seeing how the dynamics all came together and balanced so well.
When Blair and her ex break up, all she can think about is getting her cat back and rejuvenating in a vacation rental to get back on her feet. But she finds she is not the only one booked at the rental for the week. No, she is sharing her quiet getaway with the 3 hockey players who came to her rescue just days before. What starts as a scheduling mistake quickly morphs into a revenge plot where Blair can only be the winner. And after their week together, they will go back to their regular routines with no strings left.

This is a why-choose hockey romance that is light on hockey and heavy on spice. These 4 have great banter, great camaraderie, and great communication in general. I don’t read all that many why choose romances (this is the only series I have going at the moment), but when I do I always appreciate when all parties are able to talk through feelings, heavy and light, and this group has the conversation bit down.

And what can I say about the audio for this book?! A full cast means full immersion into this world, and my goodness they do this story justice! Hearing each character in their own voice really adds flair to certain scenes, if you know what I mean.

Once again, Lauren Blakely has crafted a story that balances the line between spicy and sweet. From the way all 3 men swoop in to rescue her cat, to the way they work together to give her what she hasn’t found with anyone else, this story is full of spicy tension and light humor.

Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton narrate in duet this spicy, why choose hockey romance where the men take care of all her needs. WELL AND TRULY PUCKED is NOW LIVE in audio, so grab your earbuds and make this your next listen today!

A jilted book nerd, a plan for sweet revenge, and the two hockey studs who volunteer as her tributes...

When I discover my boyfriend is cheating on me, I move out right away taking what I love most – my dog. As I fly out the door, I make sure to swipe the thing my ex loves best. The VIP tickets he won to a hockey game, complete with the chance to spend an evening with the city’s two biggest NHL stars.

I can’t wait to snap selfies with my ex’s idols and rub it in his face.

Except, when I head out with the two hockey studs, they have something else in mind besides sweet revenge. Would I like to spend the night…with both of them?

Talk about the VIP experience. That’s what I get for one knee-weakening, sheet-grabbing night. In the morning, I plan to return to my bestie’s house to crash on her couch with my dog.

But when they learn what happened with my awful ex, they ask me to be their temporary roomie for the week. Oh, and one of them needs my help with his grumpy reputation. The other? Well, he wants me to be his fake date at an upcoming wedding.

Looks like I’m about to get double pucked. Again.

When my ex traded me out for a better model—my boss—I didn’t get mad.

I got even.

I quit my job as an assistant for the back-stabbing fashion influencer and scored another one as the hockey team’s new mascot.

But one night after a win, I accidentally marry the intense new star player when the fun-loving team captain dares us to say I do. Then, there’s a double dare, and I’m experiencing more pleasure than I knew was possible.

In the morning, hubby and I are on our way to get an annulment, when the team owner spots our rings and invites the new it couple to attend her upcoming charity gala.

Looks like I have to fake it as Mrs. Hockey for the season. There’s only one little problem. Or really two big ones.

We’re not just a couple. The team captain wants me too.

And my wedding night in Vegas? Both hockey stars made me say puck yes all night long.

And he’s suddenly intensely curious about these bedroom lessons. He’s so damn interested, he says, “I’d be willing to be your test subject.”

If I say yes, it'll change our lifelong friendship in the next twenty-four hours…
