When portals from another world split open the sky, humanity braces for war… only to discover the monsters from Erethar aren’t here to conquer. They need something from humans. Something oddly specific in order to survive.

But being a Deaf man, they’ve wanted nothing to do with me. At least, up until I meet a very high-ranking monster in Las Vegas.

My night with Eissa is meant to be a one-time thing with very specific rules, but when we get back home, he’s there, and still cornering me in dark alleys to take what he wants.

Unfortunately, just as I’ve decided to move on, I become a target of an anti-monster faction, and I have no other choice but to take sanctuary on Erethar…

…as a newly contracted Vyastil companion to none other than Eissa himself.

While Eissa hasn’t changed, here on Erethar it’s becoming obvious there’s more to his story than I thought. And if I play my cards right and learn exactly how to tempt him, he may be willing to do more than just take what I have to offer.

He may be willing to keep me.

My name is Luca, and I’m working my gym-tightened ass off to win the heart of a scarred Vyastil who needs more than just a little romp in the sheets.

You’re welcome, Eissa.

Tempt is the third book in the MM Monster Romance series Feed and Feast. It contains a touch-averse monster with scars both inside and out, a gym-bro human who has no idea how he got himself into this predicament, an Eretharian pet who likes to rearrange furniture, political intrigue, rebellion, and a little high treason…you know, as a treat. This book is high heat, high swoon, and ends with a happily ever after.

Luca is a deaf human who cares about others, especially his brother Dante, but is just kind of feeling like something is missing from his life. He’s seeing his brother and friends find partners and even though he helps his brother with his business,  he feels like he’s kind of lacking his own purpose and companionship.

A Deaf Expo in Vegas brings a one-night stand with a high ranking Vyastil that rocked his world. But that Vyastil, Eissa has just resisted and pushed him away, making him feel more worthless.

And now that they’re back in their normal environment and their social lives do cross, there’s this push and pull between them that is stronger than it should be. But Eissa keeps trying to resist and is doing his best to protect them both. Luca continues to feel rejected. And a traumatic event ramps everything up even more, and they have to make some serious changes.

Luca just wants Eissa to want to stop resisting and really keep him. He is strong-willed, a bit mischievous, and challenges him. Eissa is more stoic and cautious and has his reasons for being protective and afraid. He tries hard to resist but gets swept up and is conflicted about what to do to keep them both safe, make Luca happy, and help his people. And there is more going on within Eissa's world that Luca does not understand.

I got sucked back into this monster-human world. It brings back the other couples in this series and introduces some new ones. They are trying to make changes, but are also facing danger.

This one had more danger and suspense and a lot of tension with the political landscape on Erether. So it had me wondering how it was all going to work out, and had me worried for this couple. I loved seeing  Eissa finally quit resisting his feelings for Luca. But that was only part of the battle due to circumstances, obligations, and threats. There were also a few surprises and a lot of things going on under the surface in the Vyastil world.

It left this couple in a good place, but it also left questions about other side characters and the overall story arc that continues to evolve, so I am very interested in the next book that was teased as well.

Kim's review

When portals from another world split open the sky, humanity braces for war… only to discover the monsters from Erethar aren’t here to conquer. They need something from humans. Something oddly specific in order to survive.

And that's when the government begins recruiting for a ritual that sounds a lot like a cross-dimensional booty call.

Normally an exclusivity contract with a monster called Rathyn of the Dark Vale would be a hard pass, but the more time I spend with him, the more I realize there’s more to this whole monster/human thing than what the government is telling us.

I want to believe it’s nothing more than an arrangement, but the way he melts under my touch, and the way he’s constantly seeking more, makes me believe that maybe his fate is wrapped up in my own.

It’s no longer about what I can do for him.

It's about what we mean to each other.

I’m Everest Hale, and I’m doing my part to save the world with my… Well, I’m not at liberty to discuss, but let’s just say it’s given with vigorous enthusiasm.

You’re welcome, Earth.

Suck is the first book in the MM Monster Romance series Feed and Feast. It contains a clueless human who’s just looking to do his duty for humanity, a naïve monster who has no idea how much humanity will change him, so much sucking, swooning, antagonists to lovers, cuddling as a love language, body piercings, secret romance, and a toe-curling happily ever after.

Feed and Feast #2

When portals from another world split open the sky, humanity braces for war… only to discover the monsters from Erethar aren’t here to conquer. They need something from humans. Something oddly specific in order to survive.

And I’ve spent the last few years working at my little shop and doing my part to help humanity by donating what the monsters crave.

But everything turns upside down the day I get a call from a friend saying an injured, banished Vyastil is looking for sanctuary.
He’s nothing like the others I’ve met. Cielo is a soft and tender monster whose punishment doesn’t fit his crime. And unfortunately, as much as I try to help by feeding him what his body needs, he doesn’t believe he’s worthy of taking it.

I want to teach him that everything he grew up knowing about humans is wrong, and that maybe his people would be a lot less repressed if they allowed themselves the one thing humans indulge in.

But the moment Cielo gives in and tastes me is the moment it no longer becomes about what his body wants.
It’s now about who we are to each other, and what fate has in store for both our future, and the future of monsterkind.

My name is Dante, and I’m working to save Vyastil society by showing them that the pleasures of the flesh can be theirs, if they only allow themselves to take it.

You’re welcome, Erethar.

Taste is the second book in the MM Monster Romance series Feed and Feast. It contains a sex shop worker who just wants a little peace, a naïve, kind monster who has no idea how much he’s worthy of being loved, sucking, tasting, friends to lovers, touch and affection starved cinnamon rolls, body piercings as a love language, secret rescue missions, and a toe-curling, swoony, happily ever after.
