I liked it, short and sweet. Enough info for you to get to know these characters while building up the story for books to follow. It also gives us some insight to Daemon's book. I adored Dawson, he was wicked sweet.he also wasn't afraid to move outside the box and go after what he wanted.Which for Dawson was Beth, he didn't care that he was destined to mate with one of his own.

"The whole telling part seemed a moot point now, but how could he explain what happened? Hey, honey, I'm an alien and apparently I just doused you with some radioactive loving! Wanna catch a movie? Yeah, not cool."
So I read this one right after per recommendations from some fellow Lux addicts and I completely agree with them! Definitely read this book second as it sets up Beth and Dawson's story for books 2 and 3.

And Daemon at least stays true to his smart ass self. Which is what I totally love about him. I don't know if I could take it if he was as sweet as his brother. Yup, I am a sucker for bad boys.

Tsk, Tsk Daemon! It isn't nice to tell fibs. Katy is just around the corner and you know she knocks you off your feet and makes your bad boy self fall wicked hard!
"Next thing we know, you'll be dating a human."
Daemon busted out laughing. "Yeah, not going to happen."
