I think this woman may be the death of me. A dire prediction, but probably true.
Probably true because she’s not mine to have and I’ll probably take her, even at the risk to my own safety. So many men slobbering to get a taste of her and only one, sweet, virginal girl to go around.
That’s right.
She’s a virgin.
Looking like a porcelain china doll that would break if not handled carefully. But I also know she’s stronger than she looks.
She’s a contradiction.
She’s most likely my downfall.
Like I said, she’ll probably be the death of me, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.
**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

Logan McKay is instantly drawn to the new woman at the Silo. As a fantasy maker, he has seen it all. But he isn’t prepared for the protective feelings he develops for the new woman being paraded through the club in preparation for the upcoming auction of her virginity.
Auralie isn’t all that comfortable with her current situation, but she knows she must go through with it. But there is more to her story than just a woman auctioning off her virginity and she can’t help wishing she could change her situation.
There is an instant connection between these two, even before they speak. Silent communication flows between them, even before words have passed between them, and they can easily read each others moods, to the point of nearly reading minds. She doesn’t want to auction off her virginity, but has no choice. He can’t continue to watch her as the auction gets closer.
Logan is also hiding, but hiding his past from everyone including those closest to him at the Wicked Horse. No one knows who he was before he arrived in Wyoming to work as a fishing guide and Fantasy Maker, but his nightmares point to a horror of some kind. Readers have met him in previous Wicked Horse novels, but his backstory is more than I could have imagined.
At times, things became a little uncomfortable and a little awkward as I wondered what was going on and how Logan could help Auralie. But Auralie is hiding something that makes all the difference. As the story unfolds, I loved watching these two. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the lengths they will go to protect the ones they love are immense. It was never a case of if they would get together, it was a case of how they could work it out.
As to be expected from this series, there is lots of sex and lots of kink, though the kink is far lighter than others in the series simply because of Auralie’s virginal status. I liked that their relationship built with minimal sexual content, even as they were surrounded by sex of all kinds. Their connection may have been immediate, but it took time for things to develop beyond the instant attraction that simmered between them. I really liked that for a change, they had to put a hold on things developing physically until well beyond the instant attraction.
I so want to get into Bridger’s head, before this book but especially after the epilogue and cannot wait for his book, Wicked Bond to come out. I’ll be honest. Part of me almost didn’t read Wicked Ride, not because I wasn’t interested in Logan, but because Bridger is such an intriguing character and I knew it would not revolve around him. I am glad I read Ride, because I ended up liking Logan’s story more than I anticipated, but also because it gave me one more glimpse of Bridger as a mystery. I cannot wait to get inside his head and find out why he can wield so much pain and pleasure within the Silo yet no one affects him. He has long been the most intriguing character of this series for me, and I can’t wait to learn his story.

Never
in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and
depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and
Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true.
He’s
covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of
multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they
know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his
family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly
understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue
eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex
club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton
Mountain range.
Sweet
Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to
starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s
managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she
foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned
down.
Now
Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her
that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both
Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and
making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.

Cain
Bonham is as big and bad as they come. After serving in the Marines,
he’s returned home to Wyoming and now works as head of security at the
exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse. His job is to protect not only the
patrons, but to zealously guard the secret existence of the club
itself.
Sloane
Preston is all about discovering secrets. As an undercover reporter,
she’s determined to reveal the truth behind the facade of The Wicked
Horse and expose it for all the world to see. She just didn’t count on
her pathway into the club coming at the hands of one gorgeously scarred
and bad ass bouncer who manages to easily possess her body and soul.
While
Cain’s not looking for anyone to catch his eye, Sloane did it all the
same, and he’s not bemoaning the fact that she’s as wickedly kinky as he
is. As both get caught up in the sinful fantasies that only The Wicked
Horse can create, secrets and loyalties will be tested and hearts will
risk being broken.

Rand Bishop’s dreams of Olympic gold
were shattered years ago but he’s left that all behind, settling into a
new career and lifestyle that would make any man jealous. While he may
not be competitively racing down the ski slopes anymore, he’s just as
happy getting his rocks off as a Fantasy Maker for The Silo.
He’s good at what he does.
Damn good.
But while life couldn’t be better
for Rand, it seems to be falling apart for Catherine Lyons Vaughn, the
dark haired, brown-eyed beauty that has captivated an entire sex club.
Having spent years degrading herself
on her husband’s whim and now left destitute after his death, Catherine
has hit rock bottom. With nothing but her body to peddle, Catherine is
merely trying to figure out how to survive in a harsh, cruel world.
Lucky for her, Rand has taken her under his tattooed wing, and he’s
determined to give her a safe life where she can be the woman she was
always meant to be.
Now all Catherine has to do is believe she deserves the chance.
Since the release of her debut
contemporary romance novel, Off Sides, in January 2013, Sawyer Bennett
has released more than 30 books and has been featured on both the USA
Today and New York Times bestseller lists on multiple occasions.
A reformed trial lawyer from North
Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy
stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic
contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.
Sawyer likes her Bloody Mary’s
strong, her martinis dirty, and her heroes a combination of the two.
When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur,
stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active toddler, as
well as full-time servant to two adorably naughty dogs. She believes in
the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great
work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
