Harley Burton is the next A-List Security guy to get an unexpected crush on a client. He is the confident, dependable, no-nonsense, fixer of this ex-military turned private security group.  He has never done relationships at all and is sure he is boyfriend material. He is just starting to figure out more about himself and who might appeal to him.

Ambrose Sterling is a neurotic, anxious, tv show creator, and silver fox. He is usually in control on set, but can get sidetracked by anxiety at times and has the most fabulous therapy dog ever. He has a pattern of crushing on unattainable guys and Harley fits the profile. 

When Harley comes to his rescue, it affects them both even more. And a road trip, fake dating, and needing to share a bed add temptation.

Maybe Harley is not as unattainable as Ambrose initially thought, but is it fake, fling, or something more?

I just loved these guys and how they push each other out of their comfort zones, but also balance each other so well. There is just this organic chemistry and natural rapport between them that feels so real and vulnerable. They both have reasons to doubt themselves and each other. But they also help give each other confidence and support and an anchor they did not realize they needed. Harley might be the tough guy protector, but Ambrose also has the ability to be confident and strong in his own convictions. They are just so sweet, likable, adorable, and hot together. Perfectly imperfectly matched.

This is my fave of the series and couple so far. It is an opposites-attract, security guard-client, fake boyfriend, forced proximity romance. It brings back the other A-list guys and sets up the next story. There are some Rainbow Cove sightings that made me smile.  It has just a little angst, but plenty of sweetness, heat, and heart.
