No promises. No expectations. No names. That’s what Emmett Stone agreed to with the woman who caught his eye two months ago. After years of drama following the end of the Tin Gypsy Motorcycle Club, a no-strings fling with a mystery woman is exactly what he needs. Except as they find themselves together more and more, it’s impossible for him to keep his feelings at bay. She’s clever and sassy. She’s gracious and kind. She loves riding on the back of his bike every Saturday afternoon and lazing in his bed every Sunday morning. She’s the perfect woman.

Except she’s Nova Talbot, the daughter of his archenemy—the man who murdered his father.

Her identity will cost her the man who’s captured her heart unless she can convince Emmett her feelings are true.

Before he learns the reason she proposed their fling in the first place.

The plot for this one was like a runaway train heading for a collision and there was little chance of stopping it. But I also could not look away. It is finally Emmett Stone's turn to be taken down by a woman.

Nova is a woman that always was seeking Daddy's time and approval. And after tragedies struck her family, she decided she was going to be the one to take out the revenge...on the Tin Gypsies. She is an intelligent lawyer, but she is ready to sleep with the enemy if she has to. She just did not realize she was going to want to...over and over. It was a bit difficult to truly like her at first due to her manipulations and plotting, but I warmed to her character along the way.

Emmett is the last single guy in his friend group. He is charming, sexy, loyal, and protective. Since the club disbanded, he spends his time as a mechanic, real estate investor, sometimes hacker, and hanging out at the bar.  He is a one-night-stand and no-repeats kind of guy. He had no idea what he was getting in for with his newest no-name mysterious partner.

But the chemistry does not lie and neither does the fact that they find themselves thinking about the other all the time and repeating the process. But she has big secrets that could ruin everything. And if she follows through with her previous plans she could destroy them all. But Emmett has some secrets of his own as well. The truth is messy, hard, and perhaps unforgivable. Once trust is shattered, can it ever truly be regained?

This is the last chapter of the battle between the Arrowhead Warriors and the Tin Gypsies. I was not sure how this was going to all play out. I just know I had to keep reading.

These two are a hot mess of past and present issues, but they are also kind of perfect for the other. There were even some secrets I was not expecting.

This installment has it all: Family. Loyalty. Secrets. Lies. Manipulation. Revenge. Regrets. Trust. Forgiveness. Betrayal.

It is tragic, emotional, passionate, heartbreaking, and intense. But it will all come down to being able to leave the past behind once and for all if there is a chance at looking forward to a future.

I enjoyed getting more with all of the other couples and their offspring. This brings this series to its end and it gives us all we needed to say goodbye to these characters.

Emmett Stone is the last man standing in his group of brothers and former MC members. His groups of friends have all coupled up, leaving him the only one still prowling The Betsy for hookups and weekend fun. But as he watches his brothers and their families, he feels a pang of jealousy, though one he isn’t keen to act on.

Nova Talbot has gotten good at hiding who she really is, so when she hatches a plan to exact vengeance on her father’s prison sentence it isn’t a stretch to continue hiding the truth. What she didn’t expect in her plan to seduce and extract information from Emmett was to actually develop feelings for her target. Her deception will cost her though as she can only hide her identity for so long before the truth comes out.

In Emmett’s mind, it was only supposed to be a one-night stand, that’s what he was good at. But the chemistry between them was amazing, even if they didn’t exchange names. No pressure, no commitment, but the chance to spend time with a woman who lit everything in him was too enticing. The more time they spent together, the harder it became to keep things casual, from names to histories, the lines became blurred as their relationship picked up a life of it’s own and they found themselves under each other’s skin.

Nova was such a perfect female lead for this story. She was strong, stubborn, and loyal. But as the story progressed and she learned more about Emmett, she began to question if her view of events was in line with the truth, or if Emmett could have done the things her father accused him of. She had a lot of growing to do, and every new piece of information she learned from Emmett had her not only questioning his role compared to her father’s stories, but also questioning what she knew of her father.

I enjoyed getting to hear Emmett’s side of many of the events from previous books in the series, as well as getting to know his mom a little better. She had such an impact on Dash and Leo as well (especially after Dash’s mom’s murder), but seeing her through Emmett’s eyes gave an even better picture of one of the last women standing from the previous generation of women and an honest view of what the wives felt.

This was everything I’ve been hoping for in the conclusion of the Tin Gypsy series. The rivalry between the Gypsies and the Arrowhead Warriors has ebbed and flowed through the series, and though things looked to be peaceful, Nova has an axe to grind between her father’s incarceration and her brother’s death. Her story had me feeling empathy for her from the beginning even as she was actively working against Emmett and the Gypsies.
