Even though the subject matter is difficult, it is handled in a respectful way and the love story and acceptance is so wonderful that it helps balance out the negative and positive. I loved Kurt and Johnny together and how they balanced each other out and provided each other with what they really needed to find self worth, hope, healing, and look forward to the future..
I enjoyed cameos from the other books and am looking forward to the next one and I am pretty sure I know who it will be about.
